Understanding Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Updated: Jun 13, 2021

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition triggered by a terrifying event, such as rape, violence, life threatening situations and much more, causing flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety.

These flashbacks are described as a " wave flow" , they come and go unpredictably and make our life miserable.

Is this the end? Do you have to suffer all your life from PTSD?

How to overcome PTSD?

Majority of victims have an "unintentional trauma denial".

This keeps them stuck and as a therapist we help them face the trauma, understand it and replace the emotions and thoughts that it triggers, by other ones more understanding, more loving and forgiving towards the entire situation and towards themselves and others.

The moment you shift these destructive and negative thoughts to constructive, forgiving, loving and postive thoughts, the actions that will follow will reflect a "Better Being," a "Happier Being".

Thetaheling helps clients overcome PTSD by taking them to the state of dreaming, the Theta state.

Hypnosis and meditation are great tools to overcome PTSD.
